How to celebrate happy bhai dooj 2020?
Happy bhai dooj 2020 is the festival of love between brother and sister. On this day sister find bhaibeej mujurat and do bhai dooj pooja in the morning.
After doing bhai duj pooja for brothers’ sister do red tika on the forehead of her brothers and pray to god for healthy and wealthy long life.
And as return gift brother gives his sister treat and most beautiful gifts to sister. This festival is much celebrated in whole part of India specially Gujarat, Maharashtra, Haryana, Karnataka and Goa.
Most important is that on this beautiful day if sister is married then she invites her brother to take lavish meal. Sister makes his brother’s favourite dish on this bhaubeej day.
This whole ceremony implies duty of every brother to protect her sister and the sister prays to god for long life of her brothers.
Sometimes it may happen that brothers cannot come to his sister home on bhai beej day due to long distance away from home and some other reason.
In this situation sister celebrate bhaibeej by doing bhai dooj pooja vidhi to moon god and pray for long life and happy of her brother.
She does aarti pooja to moon god that’s why sometime in Hindu parents they show moon and call it chanda mama. This is the reason why parents say their child moon as chanda mama.
